Why it matters
Ballooning a print by hand means numbering bubbles in a markup tool, then retyping every dimension into a spreadsheet, then doing it again when Rev B lands. None of that is inspection. All of it is transcription — and every hop is a chance to drop a characteristic.

How it works
The markers below are balloons, because that is exactly what the work is.
PDF, PNG or JPG. Multi-sheet prints keep each sheet's own zone grid. Rotate anything that came in sideways.
Balloons number themselves — 32, 32-1, 32-1a for repeats and sub-features. Insert one anywhere and the sequence repairs itself.
Type it, or drag a box and let FAIRmark read the callout off the print. Build GD&T frames from a picker instead of hunting for symbols.

What you get back
The gain isn't that clicking beats typing. It's that the drawing, the balloons and the report stop being three separate documents that somebody has to keep in agreement by hand.
A characteristic is entered once and appears on the print, in Form 3, in the Excel export and in the XML. There is no second typing to get wrong.
Every balloon is a row and every row is a balloon. A missed characteristic shows as a gap you can see, not as a report that merely looks finished.
Insert, delete or renumber and everything downstream follows. Rev B is an edit, not a fresh markup from a blank print.
